Verification Policy
Last Updated: July 2, 2026
Effective Date: July 2, 2026
This Verification Policy explains how NUEXUS Technologies (Private) Limited ("NUEXUS") issues and verifies credentials, and the terms under which anyone can confirm a credential is genuine using our public verification portal at www.nuexus.com/verify. It applies to all credentials covered below and should be read together with our Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policy and Disclaimer.
1. Effective Date & Non-Retroactivity
Online verification takes effect on July 2, 2026. It applies only to credentials issued on or after that date. Credentials issued before the effective date are not retroactively added to the portal and will show as "predates online verification."
A credential issued before the effective date may still be entirely genuine. Its authenticity can be confirmed by contacting NUEXUS directly (see section 11). This policy does not invalidate any credential; it only defines what the self-service portal covers.
2. Scope of Verifiable Credentials
From the effective date, the following NUEXUS-issued credentials carry a unique ID and are verifiable online:
- Training certificates issued for NUEXUS courses and certification tracks.
- Certification credentials awarded on completion of an assessed program.
- Compliance attestations produced via NUEXUS Comply (for example readiness or control attestations).
- Reports issued by NUEXUS, such as penetration test and security assessment reports.
- Official letters, including experience, internship, offer, relieving and appreciation letters.
Where a document type is added to this program in future, it becomes verifiable from its own issue date, on or after the effective date above.
3. Holder Name & Unique ID
Every covered credential is issued with two things that make it verifiable: the holder's name and a unique credential ID printed on the document (for example NX-CERT-2026-0001). The ID is what you enter in the portal.
The name shown by the portal must match the name on the credential. If the ID is valid but the name does not match the document you are holding, treat the document as suspect and contact us.
4. How Verification Works
Enter the credential ID at /verify. The portal checks the ID against NUEXUS records in real time and returns the credential's current status. No login is required, and checks are rate-limited to protect the service.
5. What a Result Means
- Verified: the ID matches a genuine, current NUEXUS credential.
- Expired / Revoked: the credential exists but is no longer current.
- Predates online verification: issued before the effective date; confirm with NUEXUS directly.
- No credential found: no record matches that ID. Recheck the ID or contact us.
6. What Is Not Covered
This portal only verifies credentials issued by NUEXUS on or after the effective date. It does not verify third-party or vendor certifications (for example exams sat with an external body), documents not issued by NUEXUS, or credentials issued before the effective date. For those, use the issuing body's own verification service or contact NUEXUS.
7. Data Shown & Privacy
The portal displays only the minimum public fields needed to confirm authenticity: holder name, credential title, type, issue date, validity or expiry, and status. It never exposes contact details, scores, report contents or other sensitive data. Verification is processed in line with our Privacy Policy.
8. Revocation, Expiry & Reissue
NUEXUS may revoke a credential obtained through fraud or misconduct, and some credentials carry an expiry date. Status is shown live, so a credential can move from valid to expired or revoked over time. A reissued credential keeps a unique ID; always verify the ID printed on the specific document in hand.
9. Fraud & Misuse
Forging, altering or misrepresenting a NUEXUS credential is prohibited and may be reported to relevant authorities. If you believe a credential is being misused, or a document does not match its verification result, email support@nuexus.com.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as the verification program evolves. Changes apply from the date they are posted and are not retroactive. The effective date at the top reflects when online verification first took effect.
