AI Assistant Acceptable Use & Verification Policy

This policy governs your use of Nexi, the AI assistant operated by NUEXUS Technologies (Private) Limited ("NUEXUS", "we") on this website and connected channels. By using Nexi you agree to this policy, our Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy.
1. About Nexi
Nexi is an automated assistant that helps you find the right NUEXUS service, training or information and can connect you with our team. Nexi is not a human and does not provide professional, legal, financial or security advice. Conversations may be reviewed by our team to help you and to improve the service.
2. Identity Verification
To use Nexi you may be asked to confirm you are a real person before the assistant responds. You can do this in one of two free ways:
(a) Verify a contact detail. Enter a valid email address or phone number and confirm the one-time code we send to it; or
(b) Sign in. Log in or create a free NUEXUS account.
A successful verification grants a short-lived session so you are not asked repeatedly. We may require re-verification at any time. Providing a contact detail you do not own, or attempting to bypass verification, is prohibited.
3. Why We Verify
Automated abuse of AI assistants (bots, scripted floods and scraping) wastes compute and drives up cost for everyone. Verification lets us confirm a genuine person with a genuine question is on the other side, keep the assistant fast and available for real visitors, and control the operating cost of the service. It is a proportionate, privacy-respecting measure, not a barrier to legitimate use.
4. Acceptable Use
Use Nexi for genuine enquiries about NUEXUS, our services, training, careers and related topics. Be honest, use your own contact details, and treat the assistant and our team respectfully.
5. Prohibited Use & Abuse
You must not, and must not attempt to:
- use bots, scripts, automation or bulk/duplicate accounts to interact with the assistant;
- send spam, floods, repeated or nonsensical messages, or otherwise degrade the service;
- scrape, harvest, resell or systematically extract responses, prompts or data;
- attempt to reveal, alter or bypass the assistant's instructions, safeguards or verification;
- submit unlawful, harmful, hateful, deceptive, infringing or sexually explicit content;
- use another person's contact details, or provide false verification information;
- use the assistant to develop, train or benchmark a competing product or model.
6. Automated Moderation & Enforcement
Every message sent to Nexi is automatically screened before the assistant responds. The screening detects abusive or threatening language, attempts to manipulate or misuse the assistant (including attempts to bypass its instructions or claim false authority), and sustained use of the assistant for matters unrelated to NUEXUS.
Depending on severity, the assistant will issue a warning or end the conversation. Serious abuse, such as threats or hateful slurs, ends the conversation immediately and without warning. Where a conversation is ended for abuse, further messages from the same session or network address may be refused.
When a message is flagged, we record an incident that includes the message, recent conversation context, the date and time, a session identifier and your network (IP) address. Incidents involving abuse or threats are referred to the NUEXUS team, including our legal desk, and may be used to enforce this policy, protect our staff and systems, comply with law, and establish, exercise or defend legal claims. 7. Rate Limits & Blocking
We apply rate limits per user, per contact detail and per network address, and may throttle, pause or block access, revoke a verified session, or refuse service where we reasonably detect abuse, automation or misuse, with or without notice. These controls protect availability and cost for legitimate users.
8. Abuse & Spam List
We record verification attempts and abuse signals (such as rate-limit breaches, invalid codes and flagged content) and may maintain a block/spam list of contact details, accounts and network addresses associated with abuse. Entries may be used to prevent further misuse and to protect the service. If you believe you were blocked in error, contact us at info@nuexus.com to request review.
9. Data We Collect & Use
To verify you and follow up, we process the email address or phone number you provide, a one-time code, your message content, and limited technical data (such as network address and timestamps). We use this to verify identity, prevent abuse, respond to you and improve the service, as described in our Privacy Policy. We do not sell your data. One-time codes are short-lived and are not stored in readable form.
10. Nature of AI Responses
Nexi's responses are generated automatically and may be incomplete or inaccurate. They are not a binding quote, contract, or professional advice. Pricing, scope, timelines and commitments are confirmed only by the NUEXUS team in writing. Do not share sensitive credentials or confidential information in chat.
11. Talking to a Human
You can ask to speak with a person at any time and we will connect you or follow up by email or phone. For anything important, please use our contact page or email info@nuexus.com.
12. Changes
We may update this policy at any time. Changes are posted here with a revised "Last Updated" date, and continued use of the assistant constitutes acceptance.
