Child Safety & Parental Consent Policy

The conditions under which children take part in NUEXUS programs, written for parents, not lawyers.

Effective 7 July 2026

1. Our commitment

Children take part in NUEXUS programs, such as AI for Kids and school sessions, only under conditions their parents and guardians can see, understand and control. This policy states those conditions plainly. If anything here is unclear, ask us before your child joins: info@nuexus.com.

3. Safe session rules

  • At least two trained NUEXUS adults are present in every live session involving minors. A trained NUEXUS adult means a staff member or vetted volunteer who has completed our child-safety onboarding.
  • There is no private one-to-one messaging between NUEXUS staff or mentors and a minor, ever. All communication goes through official program channels or the guardian.
  • Sessions are age-banded so content and pace match the group.
  • Cameras are optional for children. Participation never requires a child to be on camera.

4. Content and tool standards

Everything taught is age-appropriate and reviewed before a session runs. Where sessions use AI or other online tools, we choose supervised, privacy-respecting setups.

  • Children are not required to create personal accounts on AI platforms or social tools to take part.
  • Any tool used in a session is named to guardians in advance.
  • Online-safety habits are woven into the curriculum itself, so children leave safer than they arrived.

5. Minimal data on minors

  • We collect only what a session needs: the guardian's contact details, the child's first name and an age band.
  • For school-delivered sessions the same limit applies. We ask the school only for first names and age bands, and if a school system holds more data, it is not passed to NUEXUS.
  • We do not build profiles of children, do not sell any participant data, and do not use children's data for marketing.
  • Guardians may ask us to delete their child's data at any time: legal@nuexus.com.

6. Photos and recordings

The default is no. No photos, recordings or public mentions of a child without the written consent of their parent or guardian, requested separately from program consent and never bundled into it.

7. Who works with children

Only NUEXUS staff and vetted mentors who have accepted this policy and the Community Programs Policy work in programs involving minors. Anyone who breaches this policy is removed from child-facing programs immediately.

8. Reporting a concern

If anything about a session, a person or a communication feels wrong, report it to hr@nuexus.com. That is the mailbox for child-safety reports, and it is treated with the highest priority we have: investigated confidentially and acted on. For non-urgent program questions, use info@nuexus.com. Where the law requires, we cooperate fully with the relevant authorities.

9. Contact

Program questions: info@nuexus.com. Safety concerns: hr@nuexus.com. Data requests: legal@nuexus.com. NUEXUS Technologies (Private) Limited, NASTP Alpha Square, Rawalpindi, Pakistan.

This policy works alongside the general program rules.
